OverviewSoftware Engineer for Microcontroller Tool Development design, develop, and maintain Eclipse IDE Plugins, with the potential migration to newer technologies like Eclipse Theia and Visual Studio Code.
You will implement, troubleshoot, and debug software tools and collaborate with the development team to ensure project success.
ResponsibilitiesSupport thedesign, development,andmaintenanceforEclipse IDE Plugins
Support thedesign, development,andmaintenanceforVSCode/Eclipse Theia Plugins
Actively participate introubleshootinganddebuggingactivities
Work closely with otherdevelopersandtechnicalteamspread around the world
Your Profile / QualificationsA degree inComputer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field
Experience inJava / TypeScript / object-oriented programming skills
Good knowledge ofsoftware designandarchitectural patterns(ISO/OSI architecture, microservices, UML, SysML) would be a plus, but not mandatory
Experience withversion control (git)andcode management (Bitbucket/GitLab)




Fluency in English(mandatory)
Nice to haveExperience inembedded software development in C
Experience insoftware development in Rust
Knowledge of build tools such asMavenorGradle
Experience in CI/CD tools such asJenkins/GitLab/GitHub
Experience withEclipse IDEplugins / VSCode extensions development
Proven knowledge onproject managementand tools likeJira/GitLab/GitHub
