pstronguRole purpose: /u /strong /ppHe/She is responsible to assure a smooth transition of products from the initial design phase to the high volume manufacturing phase, up to the end of life.
/ppHe/She will be in charge of the Process Design and Development, according to the Lean Manufacturing rules, in order to enhance product performance and functionality, to improve quality and manufacturability and to recommend changes to reduce the overall manufacturing cost of a product.
/ppbr / /ppstronguKey accountabilities and decision ownership: /u /strong /pulliAssures manufacturing process development work outputs in line with APQP and project plan: /li /ulolliDefine and development the processes flow of new and exsisting products according to Lean Manufacturing Rules and industry 4.0 methods.
/liliprocess FMEA and control plan; br / /liliprocess verification reports (also provided by other team members); br / /lilioperator work instruction; br / /liliprocess final qualification and readiness.
/li /olulliGuides the design of the production flows and PFMEA analysis of new products bringing to the attention of the product designers the performance data of the manufacturing equipments.
/liliSupports Quality and Manufacturing team during PPAP and Customer audit.
/liliDrafts high level technical specification for Tool Design team to enable the design and construction of assembly and test tools and equipments.
/liliResponsible for corrective actions and/or improvement on processes issued.




/liliCollaborates with all the team/function involved with the aim to release to the production the equipment and the process according to the performance level foreseen.
/liliReport on the progress of projects.
/liliCollaborate and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers and other service providers.
/liliWorkstation optimization based on Lean approach.
/liliDevelop, implement and support cultural change across the organisation and drive improvement based on Lean approach.
/li /ulpbr / /ppstronguCore competencies, knowledge and experience: /u /strong /pulliExcellent ability to team work, Leadership and decision making.
/liliKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools: Kaizen, VSM, 5S, Six sigma, Kanban.
/liliDeep understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes such as electronic assembly, mechanical assembly, design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
/liliExcellent understanding of Quality Standards required in mass Automotive or Consumer product manufacturing (FMEA).
/liliGood oral and written communication skills in English.
/li /ulpbr / /ppstronguMust have technical / professional qualifications: /u /strong /pulliDegree in Engineering (or related titles),



experience gained in management within medium-sized production contexts.
