Our client is a global professional services firm, recognized for supporting corporates, private equity funds, lenders and shareholders through complex strategic, operational and transaction-related situations.

Its Transformation & Value Creation practice is one of the firm's fastest growing and most strategic business areas , reflecting a significant investment in expanding its capabilities and consolidating its market position. Operating at the intersection of M&A;, business transformation, turnaround and performance improvement, the practice supports clients across the entire deal lifecycle , from pre-deal assessment and due diligence through post-deal integration, synergy realization and value creation implementation.

In response to the rapid increase of client demand and the high-profile engagements pipeline, the firm is making a significant strategic investment in further developing the practice. As part of this strategic expansion, several Senior Consultants and Managers will join the team , reinforcing the firm's long-term commitment to strengthening its capabilities across strategic planning, business transformation, operational improvement, revenue growth and post-deal value creation.

Position – The role

The role focuses on supporting clients in assessing performance, identifying improvement opportunities and executing initiatives aimed at enhancing growth, operational efficiency and overall value creation.

Depending on project requirements and individual expertise, assignments may involve:

- Revenue Growth initiatives , supporting the identification and implementation of value creation levers aimed at improving top-line performance through pricing optimization; product and portfolio positioning, go-to-market effectiveness, customer segmentation and commercial strategy enhancement.
- Alternatively, projects may focus on Operations Improvement , including operational efficiency and procurement optimization initiatives such as spend analysis, supplier performance assessment, sourcing strategies, vendor consolidation and cost reduction programmes.
- In addition, the role offers exposure to a broad range of other strategic and transaction-related situations , including Business & Strategic Planning, Business and Operational Due Diligence, Financial Performance Monitoring, Synergy Assessment,



Integration & Separation programmes and broader business transformation initiatives.

These projects involve supporting clients in translating strategic priorities into actionable initiatives and measurable results across both pre-deal and post-deal environments. The role combines strategic assessment, value creation design and execution support, offering the opportunity to work alongside clients throughout the full transformation and transaction lifecycle.

Position – Specific responsibilities

- Support shareholders, management teams, lenders and investors in evaluating strategic, operational and financial performance across business planning, due diligence and value creation engagements, identifying opportunities in both pre-deal and post-deal situations.
- Structure complex analyses, develop business cases and translate quantitative and qualitative insights into pragmatic recommendations and actionable implementation roadmaps.
- Contribute to the design, execution and monitoring of value creation, synergy realization and integration initiatives, helping clients deliver measurable operational, commercial and financial improvements.
- Manage project activities and workstreams, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
- Monitor financial, operational and commercial performance, tracking KPIs, business plan targets and value creation initiatives to support performance management and corrective actions where required.
- Prepare executive-level presentations, reports and recommendations for senior management, shareholders, lenders and investors.
- Build trusted relationships with client teams, collaborating closely with senior stakeholders throughout the transformation and transaction lifecycle.

Requirements

- Master's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or related disciplines.
- Approximately 4–8 years of professional experience gained within strategy consulting, transaction advisory, value creation, corporate strategy,



business development, operational excellence or performance improvement environments.
- Experience working on business transformation, strategic planning, operational improvement and/or commercial performance enhancement initiatives in the context of M&A; transactions, value creation and corporate performance improvement.
- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities , with the ability to interpret financial, operational and commercial data and KPIs, develop fact-based recommendations and translate insights into actionable initiatives and measurable outcomes.
- Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Qlik) is considered a plus.
- Strong problem‑solving capabilities, with the ability to structure complex issues, challenge assumptions and develop pragmatic, data‑driven recommendations.
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset, resilience and a results‑oriented approach. Ability to operate effectively in fast‑paced and demanding environments, taking ownership of project activities and workstreams while working closely with colleagues and senior stakeholders.
- Effective communicator with excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills, able to interact confidently with senior executives, shareholders, lenders, investors and management teams across a variety of industries and business contexts.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
- Location: Milan, with flexibility to be based in other major Italian cities.

Job

This is a permanent full‑time job, in a highly dynamic context.

Standard employment contract under the collective labor agreement for the commerce sector, with a gross annual salary ranging from

- €38,000 to €51,000 for the Sr Consultant position
- and from €52,000 to €84,000 for the Management Group position.

The salary is determined on the basis of objective criteria, including the candidate’s skills and experience assessed against the requirements of the role.
