Job Title: Fleet Support Center Engineer Purpose of the Job: Provide real-time technical support to train drivers and operations teams in case of faults during service of locomotives Monitor locomotives systems remotely and respond promptly to operational anomalies Coordinate with traffic control and fleet management to manage locomoties availability and service recovery Provide clear and accurate instructions or guidance based on established protocols and procedures Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to railway equipment providing timely solutions and support to the off-site technical interventions Prepare detailed reports and documentation of off-site maintenance activities, including findings and recommendations Analyze incidents and support post-event investigations to determine technical causes Collaborate with maintenance teams and contractors to support repairs and maintenance work Participate in root cause analysis and contribute to continuous imp rovement initiatives Conduct field inspections special checks and assessments of rolling stock (locomotives) Review fleet failures, downtime reports and equipment histories to uncover reoccurring operation problems.
As appropriate he will utilize continuous improvement tools to identify root cause and work to implement a solution helping the Reliability Growth team.
