ppRINA is currently recruiting for a bRailway RAMS Engineer /b to join its office in bGenoa, Rome and Naples /b within the bElectronics and System Engineering /b Division. /ph3Mission /h3pThe RAMS Engineer focuses on contributing to the reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety of transportation systems. You'll support in implementing RAMS processes, analyzing data, and supporting project stakeholders. /ph3Key Accountabilities /h3ulliSupporting RAMS Process Management: /liliSupport the implementation and coordination of RAMS processes across project phases. /liliEnsure adherence to relevant regulations and standards in developing RAMS deliverables. /liliConducting Risk Analysis and Assessment: /liliContribute to conducting risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential hazards and safety risks. /liliUtilize RAMS methodologies such as FMECA, event tree analysis, and fault tree analysis to assess risk impacts. /liliManaging Documentation and Deliverables: /liliContribute to the development and review of key RAMS deliverables like safety plans and hazard logs. /liliMaintain accurate documentation throughout project phases. /liliCollaborating with Stakeholders: /liliWork closely with project teams, suppliers, operators, and relevant authorities. /liliParticipate in safety-related meetings and coordinate safety efforts. /liliTesting and Commissioning: /liliContribute to ensuring safety requirements are met during the testing and commissioning phases. /liliReview and assess test plans to validate system reliability and safety. /liliReporting and Communication: /liliProvide updates on RAMS activities to project managers and stakeholders. /liliCommunicate safety-related issues and recommendations effectively. /li /ulh3Education /h3pMaster’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electronic/TLC Engineering /ph3Qualifications /h3ulliBasic understanding of functional safety principles in engineering projects,



with a willingness to learn and develop expertise. /liliFamiliarity with basic railway industry regulations and safety standards. /liliAwareness of safety processes outlined by relevant authorities, such as ERA and ANSFISA. /liliBasic knowledge of RAMS analysis software, with a willingness to gain proficiency. /liliFamiliar safety process and dealing with ISA, DeBo /li /ulh3Compensation Data /h3pThe salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria and responsibilities in accordance with bCCNL RINA /b (CNEL code I480). The gross annual salary range foreseen is between €36000 and €48000 and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role. In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.
