While each solution is unique, they share common architectural traits:Web-based applications with a microservice architectureDeployment on various Kubernetes environmentsBuilt using DB Gene, our proprietary platform that we use to accelerate the development of decision?support applicationsBuilt and packaged using a Continuous Integration toolchainYour team is in charge of deploying our applications to Kubernetes environments, monitoring them, investigating issues, qualifying them, and implementing a fix if the issue is within your scope.
It works in close collaboration both with the teams responsible for project development and with the team responsible for the IT infrastructure.
As a client?facing team, your mission is to ensure that we respect our SLAs and, beyond that, to contribute actively to customer success.RoleAs a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the company's ability to deliver its software projects.
Furthermore, the recent progress in AI tools opens the door to ubiquitous automation of processes, which in turn relies heavily on DevOps tooling.Our DevOps toolchain includes the following, where alternatives are either currently or potentially investigated for almost all elements:Build scripts that rely on Gradle (currently at version 9), with a significant library of plugins developed in-houseContinuous integration pipelines running on self-hosted Gitlab workersArtefacts in several formats (PyPi, Maven2, NPM, Docker, etc.) stored in Nexus repositoriesProjects deployed to Kubernetes using Helm chartsYour mission will consist in enhancing the above toolchain both to make it more robust, for example by investigating emerging technologies and products; and to extend its scopeto the needs of the company, from software delivery to security, and more generally the automation of processes.Key ResponsibilitiesAs mentioned above, your role is connected to all technical teams in the company.
With this in mind,
and under the supervision of the Lead Engineer of the team, you will be responsible for:Maintaining the CI tool chain of the projects that we develop for our customersEvolving this CI to incorporate specificities of project and evolutions brought by the PlatformWorking with the Platform team on their specific CI tool chain, gradually taking the ownership of this CIEvolving all CI tool chains to incorporate new company-wide evolutions around security, deployments, and more generally automationsWhen relevant, propose options for, and implement upstream or downstream components, such as reorganization of Nexus servers, or an NVD cacheYour daily tasks will include:Providing L2 internal support on CI problemsSpecifying, designing, planning, and implementing components of the software production, validation, and release processes of the companyParticipate in design sessions with members of your team and of other teamsInvestigate new technologies and evolutions of our DevOps ecosystemRequired Skills & QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.Expected work experience: 1-3 years.Technical SkillsKnowledge of Docker and familiarity with Kubernetes: Deployment management, Helm charts, command-line usage (kubectl).
Experience with build tools such as Gradle.Experience with versioning (Git) and CI tools such as GitLab, GitHub, BitBucket, etc.A plus: familiarity with Nexus, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.Some experience with coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar is appreciated,
