Our client, a leading automobile manufacturer, is recruiting for a Tax Accountant (Automotive) to join their business in Italy. Position Title: Tax Accountant (Automotive) Position Type Permanent Start Date: ASAP Location: Milan, Italy Contact: Bianca Papa | ***************** Responsibilities Follow Italian tax regulations, complete IVA and IRES/IRAP declarations and prepayments, and be responsible for import VAT deduction certification and withholding tax related work. Manage Italian electronic invoices, be responsible for issuance, review and filing, verify the consistency between invoices and business documents, and cooperate with invoice inspections. Assist in accounts receivable verification, payment tracking and inventory document verification, cooperate with inventory checks, and ensure accurate relevant data. Coordinate with Italian tax authorities and customs, cooperate with tax inspections and customs clearance data submission,
and track and report changes in tax policies. Sort out financial, tax and customs related vouchers and files, and assist the Chief Accountant in accounting, statement preparation and audit auxiliary work. Other work in the Finance Department. Requirements Bachelor's degree or above, holding basic local Italian accounting qualifications is preferred. Over 3 years of experience in tax related work in Italian enterprises, familiar with tax processes, electronic invoices, inventory and accounts receivable related work. Over 2 years of SAP Enterprise or similar electronic accounting software experience is preferred. Meticulous, strong sense of responsibility, with good execution and communication and coordination abilities. Language proficiency: Fluent in English and Italian
