Shaping Where We Live and Work: Location Choices in Shocks

Politecnico di Milano is seeking researchers for a project studying how households and firms adjust location choices in response to exogenous shocks such as pandemics, climate change, geopolitical conflicts, and energy crises, as well as policy interventions.
The objective is to understand how these events affect the spatial distribution of population and economic activities, and to identify relocation mechanisms and heterogeneity across urban and peripheral areas and economic sectors.
