p About the Role p We are seeking an experienced EHS Lead to oversee all Environmental, Health Safety activities on a major data centre construction project in Milan, Italy.
The successful candidate will lead the implementation of best-in-class safety standards, drive a positive safety culture, and ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation and project requirements.
/pp Key Responsibilities /pulli Lead the delivery of the project's Environmental, Health Safety programme.
/lili Ensure compliance with all relevant EHS legislation, company procedures, and project requirements.
/lili Review and approve risk assessments, method statements, permits to work, and safe systems of work.
/lili Promote and maintain a proactive safety culture across all project teams.
/lili Lead and mentor the site EHS team where applicable.
/lili Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety interventions, ensuring corrective actions are completed.
/lili Deliver safety briefings, inductions, and awareness initiatives to personnel.




/lili Manage hazardous substances, environmental controls, and associated reporting.
/lili Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
/lili Maintain accurate EHS documentation and provide regular reports to senior management.
/li /ulp Requirements /pulli Relevant qualification in Environmental, Health Safety.
/lili Proven experience leading EHS on large-scale construction projects (data centre experience highly desirable).
/lili Previous experience managing and developing an EHS team.
/lili Strong knowledge of EHS legislation, standards, and best practices.
/lili Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
/lili Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
/lili Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
