The ideal candidate has a background in software development and a strong passion for building scalable, maintainable, and efficient applications.
The Software Application Engineer focuses on designing, developing, testing, and deploying software applications that align with our business needs.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX/UI designers, and software developers, to deliver high-quality solutions to our customers.Key AccountabilitiesSoftware Development:Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to software development best practices.Testing and Deployment:Write automated tests to ensure the quality of applications and enhance test coverage.Debug the implemented application software.Analyze and solve detected problems implementing the needed corrections.Documentation:Maintain technical documentation and diagrams related to the software applications.Support and Maintenance:Technical support to customers and internal teams as needed.Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.Identify and propose improvements to existing software applications and development processes.Actively participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and (incomplete).
Collaboration and Communication:Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software applications.Communicate technical concepts and ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.EducationBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information SystemsMaster's Degree in Engineering GeneralQualifications0/1 years of experienceAcademic knowledge of C/C++, C#Academic knowledge of requirements management and design tools (e.G. UML-based tools).
Academic knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL databases).
Understanding of software engineering life cycle and development best practices, including Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.G., Git).

The gross annual salary range foreseen is between €30,000 and €35,000 and will be finally defined on candidate's professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role.
In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.
