Application & Integration Engineer – Electric Vehicle & HV Systems

We are looking for an Application & Integration Engineer – Electric Vehicle / High Voltage (HV) to support the development, integration, commissioning, and validation of prototype electric vehicles and high-voltage systems.

- Perform commissioning and integration activities on prototype electric vehicles and HV systems .
- Support the commissioning of HV battery systems, electric motors, inverters, DC/DC converters, onboard chargers, HV distribution systems, and related components .
- Execute system bring-up, functional checks, diagnostics, parameterization, and validation activities.
- Analyze and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, communication, and system-level issues during prototype commissioning.
- Use diagnostic and measurement tools to identify faults and support root-cause analysis.
- Work with vehicle communication networks such as CAN/CAN FD and related diagnostic protocols.
- Coordinate with development teams to resolve issues identified during commissioning and testing.
- Support prototype builds, system integration, testing, and validation activities.
- Define and continuously improve commissioning procedures, test sequences, checklists, and troubleshooting guidelines .
- Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation for vehicle and HV commissioning .
- Document commissioning workflows, required tools, test conditions, acceptance criteria, test results, and identified issues

Your skills that will help us to get ahead:

- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical discipline .
- Several years of professional experience in electric vehicles, electric powertrain systems, HV systems, or automotive prototype development .




- Solid practical experience with HV systems and electric vehicle architecture .
- Hands‑on experience in prototype commissioning, system integration, testing, and troubleshooting .
- Knowledge of CAN/CAN FD, vehicle diagnostics, ECU communication, and automotive networking .
- Experience with diagnostic and measurement equipment and engineering tools.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical specifications, and system documentation .
- Experience in creating technical documentation, commissioning procedures, test instructions, and process descriptions .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic prototype and development environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluent in Italian and English ; German is an advantage.

Total compensation:

- Contract type: (Permanent)
- Gross annual salary (RAL): €(48.000) – €(54.000) (determined on the basis of objective, neutral, and verifiable criteria)
- Lavoro da remoto: individual remote working agreements
- Working hours: Full-time (40 hours per week) with flexibility
