Process Technician - Project with relocation to Malta

Our clientis a major international high‑tech manufacturer, driving innovation throughadvanced automation and Industry 4.0 practices. Working in a modern,multicultural environment, you will support highly automated productionprocesses powered by cutting‑edge technologies.

For theMalta site, we are currently looking for Process Technicians.

Responsibilities

The ProcessTechnician ensures flawless execution of semiconductor back‑endprocesses, acting as a crucial link between Engineering and Manufacturing .

This roleconnects engineering specifications with production, guaranteeing zerodeviations, maintaining strict adherence to technical standards, and supportingcontinuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing process efficiency andproduct quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure full compliance with allEngineering documentation, including SOPs, NLO PS, and Work Instructions.
- Support process optimizationactivities such as waste reduction, cycle‑time improvement, andconsolidation of process steps.
- Evaluate materials andrecommend alternative solutions to minimize costs and improve operationalefficiency.
- Identify process deviations andperform advanced (non‑repair) troubleshooting.
- Collaborate closely withProcess Engineers on continuous improvement projects.
- Contribute to the training ofproduction staff and promote consistent adherence to engineering andprocess standards.

Your Profile

The Company will consider applicants that meet the following requirements:

Strongunderstanding of semiconductor back‑end processes, including:

- Metrology- considered a key competence
- Knowledgeof equipment / automation
- Wirebonding
- Moldingand encapsulation
- Testingand finishing

Additional capabilities

- Ability to interpret processparameters, technical drawings, and detailed engineering instructions.




- Solid analytical skills withthe ability to identify inefficiencies and accurately document deviations.

Skills & Qualifications

The idealcandidate shall:

- Be willing to work on a 4 Shiftpattern, consisting of Day (06:00 till 18:00), Night (18:00 till 06:00),Rest and Off, including weekends and Public Holidays.
- Possess an MQF Level 4Qualification in a Technical/Engineering related subject or comparablecertifications together with a minimum of 3 years' experience workingwithin the manufacturing industry.
- Possess at least a year'sexperience in the Semiconductor Industry, especially in the Assemblyprocesses in conjunction with hands on experience in the field.
- Have a Quality First mentality.
- Possess good technicalknowledge of equipment, process and materials.
- Very good command of Englishboth written & spoken.
- Be computer literate,especially Microsoft Office.
- Be flexible, adaptable to thework requirements and able to take decisions following continuous inputs.
- Be able to drive projects andovercome obstacles.

Base gross annual salaryranges between €21,400 and €24,200, depending on experience. Including shiftallowances (nights, holidays, and overtime), total compensation may reachapproximately €30,700?€34,200 gross per year. A welcomebonus and relocation package are also provided.
