ph3Description /h3 pAWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.
In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running.
We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.
/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDiagnose and resolve hardware and network issues, including physical repairs and troubleshooting within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
/li liPerform root cause analysis of equipment failures and coordinate with solution groups for complex problems.
/li liWork rotating shifts (morning, late, night) and weekends to maintain 24/7 data center operations.
/li liFollow and uphold the highest safety standards, and lead safety initiatives.
/li liHandle manual lifting of equipment in accordance with regulations.
/li liTravel locally up to 10% of the time and maintain a valid EU driving license.
/li /ul h3Work Schedule /h3 pThis is a 100% onsite in-person position due to the hands?on nature of managing mission?critical infrastructure.




/p h3Location /h3 pOur data centers are in remote areas outside Milan; a valid EU driving license is required.
/p h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liIT hardware troubleshooting experience.
/li liCompleted formal education, apprenticeship or training in an IT related field.
/li liGood command of English; all job interactions and recruitment will be in English.
/li liValid driving license in Italy.
/li liAvailability to work rotating shifts.
/li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liDiploma or equivalent formal qualification in an IT related field.
/li liBasic knowledge of Linux and experience with network protocols in a data?center environment.
/li /ul h3Compensation /h3 pItaly – 30,****** EUR gross annually (full?time).
Salary may be adjusted based on skills and experience.
