We are currently searching for Long Term ETS Portfolio Officer , based in Rome office.

What will you do?




A Long Term ETS Portfolio Officer will be part of Assets Optimization and Trading (AOT), one of the local Business Entities of Global Energy Management Italy – SEM Italy – and will contribute to value creation around SEM Italian assets.

Manage and optimize third‑party asset portfolio creating value for SEM Italy

Develop costing tool for PPA / third‑party asset offers

Develop green assets production forecast model

Develop and support ETS portfolio budget process

Estimate risks associated with renewable assets management and power purchase agreements (PPA)

Manage power assets portfolio, maximizing results and minimizing risk, through all flexibility offered by the markets

Assess market strategies of competitors through the development of new analysis tools

Actively support SEM Italy platform business development

Propose improvement of models, processes & IT tools and follow up implementation

About YOU
Required qualifications and attributes:

Degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics

At least 3 years of experience in the Italian electricity market

Excellent quantitative analysis and probabilistic modelling skills

Knowledge of global energy markets & trading environment

Adaptable and flexible attitude

Strong team player, humble, communicative, and open to others’ opinions

Customer oriented, respectful of stakeholders, and polite





Curious and passionate about commodities, financial markets, and energy developments

Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply them practically

Strong work ethic, attention to detail and risk awareness

Proactive idea generation and continuous improvement mindset

Fluent in English and Italian

Good knowledge of Python and programming languages

Proficient use of Excel

Type of contract
Local contract according to Italian labour law.
