Overview
In this role, you will drive SAP ABAP development and support for the Vistex platform, collaborating with global teams to design and deliver state-of-the-art SAP-based solutions. You will ensure high-quality software and contribute to product improvements across the application lifecycle. You’ll tackle integration, debugging, and deployment while shaping technical documentation and best practices. This position offers exposure to a fast-growing, multicultural environment where your work directly impacts revenue-optimizing incentives programs.
Responsibilities
- Build clean, efficient code based on specifications
- Test and deploy programs and systems
- Fix and improve existing software
- Design algorithms and flowcharts
- Integrate software components and third-party programs
- Verify and deploy programs and systems
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software
- Gather and evaluate user feedback
- Recommend and execute improvements
- Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer or similar role
- 5+ years of hands‑on ABAP experience (ABAP language, user exits, IDOCs/ALE/BAPI, Smartforms, Marcos and subroutines, dialog programming, and control framework)
- Exposure to agile development methodologies like SCRUM would be an added advantage
- Excellent English language skills (written and spoken)
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, xysqume and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Critical thinker and problem‑solving skills
- Good time‑management skills
- SD pricing, OTC, LIS, and general SD configuration is a plus
- Prior Vistex Implementation Experience is a plus
