Overview

As Project Engineer at BAT Italy, you will lead CAPEX projects from concept to handover, ensuring safety, budget, and regulatory compliance. You will work within a factory-focused team to support continuity, capacity expansion, and process optimization aligned with BAT standards and sustainability goals. You will manage budgets, schedules, and contractor coordination to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. This role offers exposure to cross-functional collaboration, regulatory requirements, and the chance to contribute to a global, growth-oriented mission. - Plan, develop, and execute CAPEX projects at factory/department level from concept through commissioning and handover
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle including scope, budgeting, scheduling, resource planning, execution and close-out
- Ensure delivery within scope, budget and timeline while complying with internal standards and regulatory requirements
- Develop and manage CAPEX budgets with cost control and forecasting in collaboration with Finance
- Lead and coordinate project execution activities,



including management of contractors, suppliers, and engineering service providers
- Review and approve technical documentation (URS, design documents, installation and commissioning plans)
- Identify and mitigate project risks (technical, financial, schedule, compliance)
- Collaborate with internal and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment and adherence to best practices

Responsibilities
- Strong engineering background in industrial/manufacturing environments
- Solid technical knowledge of industrial process equipment (mechanical and electrical xysqume systems) at project level
- Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation (technical drawings, layouts, P&IDs;)
- Proven experience in CAPEX project management including project controls, commissioning, and qualification (advantage)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of IM pillar and CQV is a plus
