As Sales Area Manager for GEA Bakery, you drive profitable growth in your territory by leading strategic sales efforts and building strong key accounts. You’ll collaborate with Front Line Sales, customers, and cross-functional teams to craft value-based proposals and manage a robust pipeline. You’ll guide complex opportunities from discovery to close, ensuring long-term customer value and target achievement.

- Develop and execute territory growth plans aligned with strategic objectives
- Drive customer engagement and build relationships with key decision makers
- Lead complex sales opportunities with Front Line Sales and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate account development plans for strategic and key customers
- Manage opportunity pipelines, forecast accuracy and CRM discipline
- Develop customer-focused value propositions based on productivity,
performance and Total Cost of Ownership
- Coordinate cross-functional resources across Application Management, Product Management and Technical Offer teams
- Lead commercial negotiations ensuring profitability and long-term customer value
- Deliver Order Intake, Revenue, Margin and growth targets
- Provide market insights and Voice of Customer feedback to support innovation and future business development
- Degree in Engineering, Business or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B capital equipment sales, business development or project-driven environments
- Proven success in managing complex sales cycles and strategic customer relationships
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and business mindset
- Experience working in international and matrix organizations
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, pipeline management and sales forecasting
- Fluent English; additional languages are considered an advantage
