YOUR MISSION
The Montblanc Retail Field Trainer is crucial for upholding brand excellence across our Italian stores network (retail and wholesale stores). This role designs, delivers, and implements impactful training initiatives to enhance sales staff capabilities, ensuring a consistent and exceptional customer experience, deep product knowledge, and strong sales performance.
The Retail Field
Trainer will align training strategies with Montblanc's luxury values and retail objectives, utilizing both traditional and innovative digital learning methods.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
Training Strategy & Delivery:
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging in-store and online training programs covering Montblanc's heritage, product knowledge (writing instruments, leather goods, watches, accessories), luxury customer experience, advanced sales techniques, and brand storytelling.
- Create and customize comprehensive training content, including e-learning modules and annual updates.
- Organize and facilitate Induction programs for new retail staff.
- Ensure consistent and passionate communication of Montblanc brand values, heritage, craftsmanship, and product benefits across all retail teams.
Performance Monitoring & E-learning Management:
- Develop and manage content for Montblanc's E-learning App.
- Monitor and evaluate training program effectiveness (in-person and digital) using feedback, KPIs, and e-learning analytics (completion rates, user engagement).
- Identify training needs through retail KPI analysis and structured store visits, providing detailed feedback reports.
- Provide ongoing support for continuous learning and consistent application of training methodologies.
- Report on training progress, challenges, and outcomes, leveraging insights from the e-learning platform.
Coaching & Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Provide targeted coaching and mentorship to Store Managers and key staff to enhance skill development, leadership capabilities, and sales performance.
- Collaborate and manage regular communications with Regional teams and Stores regarding training material updates and new content.
- Support the administrative management of daily training activities.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
Experience:
- At least 2 years progressive experience in the luxury retail sector.
- Dedicated experience in retail training, preferably within a luxury brand.
- Proven experience delivering engaging training sessions (in-person and virtual), with strong facilitation and coaching skills.
- Experience developing and managing content for e-learning platforms is highly desirable.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of key Retail KPIs and ability to analyze data.
- Excellent written and spoken Italian and English.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Proficiency in managing digital learning tools and platforms.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Proactive attitude, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and engage diverse audiences as an excellent and engaging speaker.
Mobility:
- Frequent national and international travel across Italy & Malta (estimated 50% of time) for store visits and training sessions, otherwise based in our Milan Offices.
