My client is seeking a PIC Process Engineer to join their team in Italy and have the mission to develop, optimise, and transfer photonic fabrication processes from R&D; to production.

Skill Set Requirements

- Strong background in semiconductor or photonic fabrication processes

- Experience with cleanroom processing (lithography, etching, deposition, CMP)

- Knowledge of silicon photonics or other photonic platforms

- Process integration, yield improvement, and process characterisation

- Familiarity with process control, DOE, and failure analysis

- Ability to work with foundries and cross-functional teams
