Lead Engineer, Product Development & New Technology (F/H)

Specialista Senior / Project Manager

You will lead the development of Subsea XT technologies from concept to delivery, collaborating across global teams to turn customer needs into robust, manufacturable products. You’ll drive design, testing, and qualification while shaping the engineering strategy and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Your work fuels competitive solutions and supports Baker Hughes’ mission to advance sustainable, high-performance subsea systems.

- Develop Subsea XT technologies aligned with customer needs
- Produce designs, drawings, BOMs, calculations, and lead qualification and system integration tests
- Manage scope, timeline, budget, risks, resources, and stakeholder engagement
- Lead global,



cross-functional teams with DFMA expertise
- Provide technical reviews, coach engineers, and mentor a diverse team
- Explore new opportunities, pursue patents, and perform Freedom to Operate analysis
- Monitor market trends to inform technology strategy and product roadmaps
- Experience in Design Engineering for Subsea Production Systems
- Proficiency with 3D CAD models and detailed drawings
- Strong understanding of GD&T; and Design for Manufacture principles
- Knowledge of CAD tools CREO/Pro-E and TeamCenter/PLM
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Petroleum) and willingness for ongoing development
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate several projects simultaneously
- Chartered Engineer desirable
- Proactive, growth-minded with a willingness to embrace failure as learning
