Junior Infrastructure & Network Specialist
Specialista In this role you will support the terminal's IT infrastructure to keep networks and end-user systems reliable. You will collaborate with experienced colleagues to ensure smooth operation of office and operational IT equipment in a dynamic port environment. You will tackle hardware, software, and connectivity issues, with hands-on work that fosters learning and growth. This position offers real impact by maintaining and improving IT services in a critical logistics setting. You will work in a cross-functional team to enable efficient terminal operations.
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment and end-user devices
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
- Provide on-site technical support to office users and operational personnel
- Support industrial PCs, onboard terminals, and IT equipment on operational vehicles
- Assist in maintaining and improving the company's IT infrastructure
- Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, switching, and routing
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and PC hardware
- Interest in Linux systems administration (basic knowledge a plus)
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, networking concepts, and troubleshooting methodologies
- Familiarity with PowerShell, Bash, virtualization, or IT security principles considered an advantage
- Fluent Italian (speaking and writing); intermediate English
