In this onsite role with DoD oversight at USAG-Italy, you will manage DoD IT property and support enterprise infrastructure using GCSS-A and related systems. You’ll oversee asset lifecycle, inventory accuracy, warranty and software license controls, and reporting, while training staff and driving process improvements. You’ll conduct audits to ensure compliance with DoD policies and contractual requirements, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to sustain secure, available inventories aligned to mission goals.

- Manage DoD property book requirements supporting enterprise IT infrastructure
- Develop, review, and maintain IT asset management procedures and system requirements
- Account for IT hardware and software assets, including inventory control, tracking, and reporting
- Coordinate IT asset lifecycle replacement activities, ensuring timely refresh and disposal
- Track equipment warranties and manage software license issuance and compliance reporting
- Train staff and customers on IT asset management procedures and supporting applications
- Conduct internal audits on IT property accountability and asset management
- Develop and implement corrective action plans to address audit findings and process gaps
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, compliance, and service delivery
- Ensure compliance with DoD policies, contractual requirements, and IT asset management
- Provide weekly and monthly status reports documenting work performed
- Ensure inventories are secure, properly identified and accessible to authorized personnel
- Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile with records
- Ensure accurate incoming/outgoing shipments and analyze inventory levels to maintain appropriate stock
- Maintain DPAS/SharePoint portals and CMDB‑related operations as applicable
- Handle DoD property book management and DA Form 3161 processing
- 7 years with AS/AA
- 5 years with BS/BA
- 3 years with MS/MA or 9 years of applicable experience in lieu of degree
- Must be able to obtain TechRep immigration status in Italy prior to work start date
