Internship - Junior Business Innovation Consultant
Cefriel is a digital innovation center founded in 1988 through a collaboration between public and private organizations to support the digital transformation of companies and public administrations, with the aim of strengthening the competitiveness of the economic system and fostering the transition towards sustainable growth models. We are looking for a curious and motivated person to work on digital and business transformation projects, helping to translate market insights, technology trends, and client needs into concrete and sustainable solutions. The person will work in diverse project contexts, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and supported by senior professionals, with the goal of developing an integrated perspective across strategy, technology, and organization.
Working together with the team, the person will contribute, with increasing autonomy and responsibility, to the following activities:
- Analyze the competitive and operational context of client companies, identifying opportunities for evolution
- Monitor and synthesize market and technology trends, also with the support of AI tools
- Support the definition of digital transformation and innovation strategies
- Design business models and solutions that are coherent from both a technological and organizational perspective
- Design operating models (processes, roles, structures) aligned with transformation objectives
- Develop business cases, financial plans, and implementation roadmaps
Activities and Responsibilities
Working together with the team, the person will contribute, with increasing autonomy and responsibility, to the following activities:

Required Skills

- Degree in Engineering, particularly Management Engineering, Economics, or related fields
- Recent graduates with a strong interest in consulting and digital transformation; internship experience, university projects, or extracurricular activities in business or technology are considered a plus
- People with 1–2 years of experience gained in consulting, digital strategy, innovation, or similar roles within structured companies
Hard Skills
- Fundamentals of business strategy and digital technologies
- Financial and economic analysis applied to business cases, e.g. NPV, ROI, etc.
- Design of business and organizational models
- Ideation and development of concepts for digital solutions
- Process re-engineering
- Ability to analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data
- Familiarity with generative AI tools to support research, analysis, and synthesis, with attention to source quality and responsible use

Type of Contract The internship requires a full-time commitment of 5 days per week for a duration of 6 months. A monthly gross expense reimbursement of €1,000 is provided for candidates with a master’s degree, €1,100 for post-master’s degree internships, as well as meal vouchers worth €8 and a company PC. The internship may be curricular or extracurricular.
