We are looking for an
ETI Expert to join our Vehicle Engineering team. In this role, you will plan, perform, and execute ETI (Electrical Thermal Incident) assessments on new vehicles, new top hats, new engines, MCA, and serial life modifications, ensuring the process is applied according to standard procedures and milestone expectations.
ETI assessment involves evaluating the risk of thermal incidents for all electrical and electronic components, the wiring harness, and their installation in the vehicle. Availability for short business trips within Europe is required.
Responsibilities
Design Phase
Ensure ETI validation on electrical and electronic components in cooperation with the dedicated team
Support digital analysis on wiring harness routing to apply best practices and eliminate ETI risk, in cooperation with Packaging / CCP / wiring harness DRE
Escalate blocking points to align with expectations
Prepare and release ETI assessment reports for each process milestone
Industrialization Phase
Execute ETI physical checks in the production plant to confirm digital analysis (Gemba Walks)
Contribute to safety assessment for any deviation observed
Escalate blocking points and prepare/release ETI assessment reports for each milestone
Serial Life
Support plant PQE and RQDV (Routing Quality Design & Validation, former CCP) in the risk assessment of serial life issues
Participate in recurrent Gemba Walks in the assigned plants
Other activities
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the ETI assessment process and design standards through the lessons-learned process
Support ETI field and laboratory analysis
Requirements
University degree in Electrical / Electronics / Automotive Engineering, or a technical high school diploma in Electrical / Electronics
Knowledge of AC/DC principles and automotive electrical architecture
Wiring harness design knowledge
Familiarity with BEV-HEV systems
Basic knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes
Italian language, B2 level
English language, B2 level
3-5 years of experience in the Automotive industry
Nice to have
French language, A2 level
Strong communication skills and critical/analytical thinking
Experience in cross-functional and international team environments
Project and priority management, problem-solving, and continuous improvement mindset
Proactive, target-driven, self-motivated, and open-minded attitude
Offer
Salary range: from €40.000 to €44.000, that will be defined depending on the level of adherence of the candidate to the job requirements
Collective Agreement: In accordance with the provisions of the Specific Collective Labour Agreement (CCSL – CNEL code: CO10), and in particular with regard to the classification within the third professional area.
