We're Hiring: Ship’s Doctor – Cruise Ship Assignment

Join the medical team of a prestigious passenger cruise line sailing under the Italian flag!

Your Role

Provide medical care to both passengers and crew, working as part of a structured onboard medical department under the supervision of a Medical Director.

Requirements: Medical Degree and specialization (Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, or other relevant specializations) Minimum 3 years post-grad clinical experience At least 6 months in emergency settings (ER, ICU, ambulance, etc.) Enrollment in Italian Doctors Professional Order (Ordine Provinciale dei Medici Chirurghi ed Odontoiatri) Fluent in English (B2 level or higher) and in Italian (B1) Valid ACLS, ATLS, APLS (or equivalent) Willingness to work onboard ~6 months/year (split into 3–4 month contracts)



Compulsory certification for navigation (STCW) or willingness to obtain the courses Strong clinical documentation & IT skills

Important for EU Doctors

EU candidates must have their qualifications recognized by the Italian Ministry of Health, be registered with an Italian Medical Council, and obtain a Medico di Bordo license.
