Qualifications:SHIPBOARD EmploymentPreferably 2 years experience in a similar position (front desk, receptionist background) at an International 5 star and luxury establishment.Basic accounting knowledge.Excellent fluent English (verbal and written). Conversational in preferably two additional languages (German, French, Italia_n, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin).Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office package and Fidelio.Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible to provide exceptional guest services at the reception desk.Responsible for supervising the day to day operation of the reception desk.Assists with and coordinates guests needs and requirements ensuring that all are met and the needs of the guest are observed in the delivery of the highest possible service.Responsible to ensure that all guest requests,
enquiries and complaints are responded to immediately and are followed up on efficiently and to the guests satisfaction. Proactively demonstrating sincerity and hospitality in all guest interactions.Maintains a high level of communication and feedback with the Guest Relations Manager as well as other departments around the ship.Responsible to ensure the smooth flow of information between the shore concierge, finance and reception teams.Embarkation and debarkation duties as required.Assists with regular inventories of guest relations department equipment.Prepares the reception team working schedule for approval by the Guest Relations Manager.
