ph3Job Description /h3 pThe Strategic Sourcing Specialist works to develop an innovative and competitive supply base for powertrain, vehicle, and battery development. The role focuses on ensuring speed, quality, and risk reduction across sourcing activities while supporting new business opportunities. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liIdentify and scout new suppliers in automotive and energy-related sectors /li liPerform technical and economic pre‑qualification and supplier assessments /li liSupport RFQ processes, including supplier selection and benchmarking /li liConduct Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis and cost breakdowns /li liManage supplier‑related risks and ensure mitigation strategies /li liCollaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, and Project Management teams /li liDevelop and maintain supplier dossiers and benchmarking analyses /li liRun mini RFIs and organize technical visits to supplier facilities /li liMonitor supplier performance through monthly dashboards and KPIs /li liSupport proposal preparation and contribute to new business acquisition /li liAnalyze technical drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing processes /li liEnsure alignment with APQP, PPAP,
and IATF standards /li liContinuously improve supplier competitiveness and sourcing efficiency /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liDegree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field /li li3–7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supplier scouting /li liExperience in automotive and/or energy sectors /li liStrong knowledge of powertrain systems (ICE, BEV, PHEV, FCEV); battery systems (cells, modules, BMS, cooling); vehicle engineering and prototyping; mechanical and electronic components /li liAbility to read technical drawings and analyze Bills of Materials (BOM) /li liFamiliarity with manufacturing processes and quality standards (APQP, PPAP, IATF) /li liStrong analytical skills (TCO, cost analysis, competitiveness evaluation) /li liExcellent negotiation and risk assessment capabilities /li liExecutive‑level communication and synthesis skills /li liProactive, autonomous, and results‑oriented mindset /li liStrong cross‑functional collaboration skills /li liProficiency in English (good to advanced level) /li liWillingness to travel /li /ul h3We Offer /h3 pRAL: 30k - 37k /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
