You'll lead the maintenance function, keep critical equipment running at its best, and help shape the future of a highly automated manufacturing site. It's a hands‑on leadership role where you'll have the scope to improve systems, develop people, and make a visible impact on plant performance. /p h3The Role /h3 pAs Maintenance Manager, you'll take ownership of maintenance across production equipment, utilities, and site facilities. You'll lead a team of maintenance professionals, coordinate external contractors, and ensure the plant operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. /p pYou’ll balance day‑to‑day operational demands with longer‑term improvement projects, helping the site increase reliability, reduce costs, and support future growth. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead all maintenance activities across production equipment, utilities, and plant facilities /li liRun preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance programmes /li liManage and develop a team of mechanical and electrical maintenance technicians /li liCoordinate external contractors and ensure work is completed safely and effectively /li liMonitor equipment performance and investigate recurring reliability issues /li liDrive continuous improvement initiatives that improve uptime, efficiency,



and operational performance /li liManage spare parts availability and oversee warehouse inventory /li liControl the maintenance budget and identify opportunities to optimise costs /li liEnsure compliance with health, safety, and company standards /li liPrepare maintenance reports and performance metrics /li liSupport the selection, specification, and commissioning of new equipment /li liContribute to training programmes that promote best maintenance practices and effective machine operation /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 h3About You /h3 pYou’ll suit this role if you bring: /p ul liExperience in a Maintenance Manager or similar leadership role within an industrial manufacturing environment /li liStrong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems /li liProven experience leading and developing maintenance teams /li liStrong organisational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills /li liThe ability to make sound decisions under pressure and deal with unexpected equipment failures (and live to tell the tale) /li liGood understanding of occupational health and safety requirements /liliComfortable using maintenance systems, reports, and digital tools /li liExperience working with contractors, suppliers, and spare parts management /li liA Bachelor’s / Masters’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred, particularly with proven experience in electrical systems. Candidates with a Technical’ diploma may also be considered if they possess relevant industry and electrical experience.
