Job Outline
The prime responsibility of the role is to drive business development activities for Automotive & Transportation customers within the assigned sales region in EMEA, in alignment with the Automotive & Transportation strategy defined by the Sales Manager Automotive & Transportation EMEA as well as the companies' goals and objectives.
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for identifying,
developing, and expanding new and existing Automotive & Transportation opportunities, with a strong focus on strategic customer engagement, design‐in activity, and revenue growth. This role requires close collaboration with regional sales teams, technical resources, and key supplier partners to ensure consistent execution of the Automotive & Transportation business plan.
The position demands a hands‐on, customer‐facing commercial professional with strong market knowledge, capable of translating strategy into actionable plans, driving opportunity conversion through the design funnel, and accelerating market penetration across target accounts. The BDM will act as a market champion and subject‐matter expert for Automotive & Transportation within his sales region.
