Permitting Specialist – Milan, Italy
You will support the Environmental and Permit Manager in coordinating and improving permitting activities across projects, tenders, sites and vessels. The role consolidates information, promotes consistent practices, and drives continuous improvement of company processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, consolidate and analyze permitting requirements across projects, tenders, sites and vessels, identifying recurring topics, constraints and alignment opportunities.
- Develop, update and harmonize permitting procedures, tools, trackers, templates and reporting systems to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Assist the Environmental and Permit Manager, Project Directors and relevant functions in monitoring permitting status, identifying critical issues, trends, lessons learned and improvement areas.
- Maintain centralized, non‑project‑specific permitting registers and structured records, ensuring traceability of key information and obligations.
- Liaise with project teams, internal functions and external consultants to collect inputs,



compare approaches and promote the adoption of common permitting practices.
- Disseminate permitting requirements, key constraints and lessons learned internally to enhance awareness and coordination across projects.
- Identify synergies among projects, phases and geographies to streamline workflows, reduce duplication and strengthen the overall permitting approach.
- Provide structured permitting inputs, background information and historical references to support tendering and project teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to permitting governance, cross‑functional interfaces and company processes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in permitting management or environmental management, preferably within the EPC sector and onshore/offshore project environments.
