Experteer Overview In this role you will manage end-to-end subcontractor activities for critical equipment and subsystems across multiple projects. You'll be the main interface with suppliers, from bid to delivery, ensuring on‐time, on‐cost and on‐quality results. You will collaborate with Engineering, MAIT and QA to resolve issues and drive procurement excellence within a space projects context. This is a hands‐on, multi‐project role that emphasizes negotiation, risk management, and cost optimization to support our program goals.
Retribuzione / Benefits Act as main interface with subcontractors from RFQ to delivery
Oversee full subcontracting process: RFQs, supplier selection, contracting, PO, expediting, delivery and acceptance
Identify and source subcontractors
Prepare RFIs/RFPs and coordinate data packages (e.g., specs)
Support contract officer on programmatic contract aspects
Lead evaluation of subcontractors' proposals against criteria
Lead supplier activities and contract negotiation per project manager targets
Ensure on‐time/on‐cost/on‐quality delivery of critical equipment and subsystems
Collaborate with Engineering, MAIT and Quality to monitor performance and resolve issues
Identify cost reduction and improvement opportunities
Identify and manage subcontractor project risks
Prepare and coordinate meetings, reviews, and workshops
Coordinate procurement activities across multiple projects
Manage contract changes and negotiations
Contribute to supplier evaluation, performance monitoring, and lessons learned
Responsabilità Master's degree (MSc) in Aerospace, Electronics, Telecommunications, Management, Mechanical or comparable qualifications
3–5 years' experience in procurement, subcontracting or project supply chain in space/aerospace/defence preferred
Strong knowledge of contract management and negotiation
Familiarity with ESA/ECSS and/or MIL‐STD standards; familiarity with export controls is plus
English fluency; other European languages optional
