Experteer Overview

As a Vision Software Engineer, you design and implement industrial vision systems to support product and process quality control. You work within the Engineering Business Unit, collaborating with automation and production teams to ensure seamless integration on production lines. You will develop vision algorithms, configure cameras and lighting, and validate and troubleshoot systems at customer sites, including international deployments. This role offers hands‑on work in dynamic environments with a focus on robust, scalable vision solutions that improve manufacturing performance.

- Configure and integrate vision hardware and software (cameras, lenses and lighting) in automated machines
- Develop vision algorithms and applications using programming languages and libraries




- Collaborate with automation, engineering and production teams for optimal integration
- Perform testing, validation and troubleshooting on implemented systems
- Support installation, commissioning and start‑up at customer sites (Italy and abroad)
- Contribute to continuous improvement of vision solutions xysqume for performance and robustness

Responsabilità
- Bachelor or Master in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Engineering or Electronics
- Good knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++ or C#
- English proficiency at least B1
- Willingness to travel internationally for short periods
- Experience with Cognex In‑Sight is a plus
