Development Director - Solar - Italy (Milan) Our client is a small independent power producer with an established record of developing utility scale solar projects in Italy. With significant funding now in place for further expansion we are now seeking to appoint a Development Director to lead the origination and development of opportunities across Italy. This will involve: - Identifying and assessing sites for development
- Liaising with landowners, potential stakeholders, and local municipalities
- securing suitable sites through lease option or acquisition
- manage the team overseeing environmental, ecological report and planning submission.
- working with funders, partners, local municipalities, and delivery teams to insure timely progression of projects from site identification to operation.
- manage and secure grid connection agreements while leading the overall interconnection strategy for a specific project or market area. Applications will be dealt with in strictest confidence. Pay: €150,000.00 - €200,000.00 per year
