The gate monitors and controls the entry and exit operations of vessels in the port area. **Purpose of the job**: - Manage cargo entry and exit records. Check the correctness and completeness of the documentation provided by the carrier
- Solving of troubles related to truck visits
- Implementation of various administrative processes
- Manage and archive transit and dangerous goods documentation
- Capturing key operating data into the terminal’s IT systems
- Perform other duties as assigned by the shift leader




- Comply with all the safety and security rules and regulations lead by example
- Handling of customs issues
- Support the department and business unit where required
- Follow the corporate authority matrix, contract policies and compliance guidelines
- Actively report and suggest improvement opportunities to direct manager. **Requirements**: - Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in a team
- Previous experience in the role
- Intermediate English proficiency (other languages are a plus)
- Good Excel knowledge
- Wilingness to work shifts (including night shifts and weekends) and flexible hours
- Ability to work under pressure
