Experteer Overview

In this role you will design electrical solutions for complex industrial systems and support projects from bidding to delivery. You will collaborate across sales, proposal, and engineering disciplines to align requirements with safe, compliant designs. You will manage documentation, BOMs, and interfaces while promoting reuse of proven solutions. The position offers impact on safety-critical systems and a chance to contribute to AVL’s sustainable mobility mission.

- Collaborate with sales/proposal teams during bidding to identify suitable technical solutions
- Analyze customer specs and translate into project-aligned solutions
- Estimate material costs and labor resources for execution
- Prepare technical documentation for manufacturing and integrate client-specific requirements
- Develop and manage component lists (BOM) for design activities
- Prepare tender/bid documentation and final project deliverables
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to align interfaces and ensure integrated solutions
- Define and communicate project safety standards and requirements




- Promote reuse of existing solutions and best practices
- Design electrical schematics including process and safety circuits
- Develop safety matrices (PL) for safety function validation
- Support documentation team in user manuals and technical docs during design phase

Responsabilità
- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation (ambiguous in description)
- 3–4 years of relevant experience
- Solid knowledge of Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and EN xysqume ISO 13849-1, EN ISO 60204-1, EN ISO 12100
- Proficiency in EPLAN Electric P8 (v2.8)
- Familiarity with SISTEMA for PL calculations
- Good English (min B1)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving, dynamism, precision
- Availability for short national travel and occasional Europe travel
- Knowledge of SAP for BOM management (nice to have)
- Knowledge of EPDM for document management (nice to have)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD for layout/technical drawings (nice to have)
