YOUR ROLE /b /pulli You will be embedded within a leading EPC contractor operating in the Oil Gas and energy sector in Milan, serving as the technical reference for the SmartPlant 3D platform within a structured engineering team. /lili You will be responsible for administering and maintaining the SmartPlant 3D environment, ensuring platform stability and supporting engineering disciplines in their daily use of the tool. /lili You will act as the primary point of contact for configuration, maintenance and continuous improvement of the system, interfacing with the project team and IT stakeholders. /lili You will contribute to the standardisation of CAD processes and the definition of best practices for platform usage across ongoing projects. /li /ul pb 2. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES /b /pulli Administer and configure the SmartPlant 3D environment: databases, catalogs, material specifications and project templates. /lili Manage piping catalogs, equipment libraries and component libraries within the platform.
/lili Support and coordinate engineering users (Piping, Civil, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation disciplines) in the use of SmartPlant 3D, resolving technical issues and ensuring operational continuity. /lili Define and implement CAD standards, operating procedures and software usage guidelines. /lili Manage user permissions, access rights and project structure within the system. /lili Monitor platform performance and coordinate updates, patches and scheduled maintenance. /lili Interface with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure proper integration between SmartPlant 3D and other engineering disciplines. /lili Support clash detection and 3D model review activities. /li /ul pb 3. REQUIREMENTS /b /pulli Degree in Engineering or technical diploma in mechanical/plant engineering disciplines. /lili4+ years of proven experience as CAD Administrator on SmartPlant 3D platform. /lili Solid knowledge of system administration: database management, catalogs, material specifications and project templates. /lili Previous experience in piping design environments within Oil Gas, petrochemical or industrial plant sectors. /lili Ability to coordinate and provide technical support to multidisciplinary engineering teams.
/lili Good knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes (ASME, EN). /lili Professional English (written and spoken). /lili Working mode: hybrid — 4 days on-site in Milan + 1 day remote per week. /li /ul pb 4. WHAT WE OFFER /b /pulli The compensation for this role ranges between b€35.000 and €45.000 /b . The position is classified under the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Trade and Services sector applied by our company. Placement within the salary range will be determined based on technical skills, specific experience in the role, and the outcomes of the selection process, according to objective and neutral criteria.
