This role combines advanced technical expertise with the ability to manage and supervise external suppliers, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery of outsourced components and services. The ideal candidate shall be confident collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement robust and scalable solutions that drive our HMAX development initiatives. /p pThe position can be based in Genova, Torino, Napoli. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liSoftware Development /li liDesign, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions aligned with projects’ requirements. /li liApplying Hitachi Rail software development rules, implementing coding, testing, and documenting the solution to ensure robust applications. /li liCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and deliver state-of-the‑art solutions. /li liSupplier Supervision /li liOversee and coordinate activities of external suppliers involved in software development. /li liConduct regular code reviews and supervise progresses to provide feedback and suggest corrective actions in case of deviations. /li liEnsure suppliers meet contractual obligations, quality standards, and project timelines. /li liLeadership Collaboration /li liMentor supplier’s developers to share the knowledge bases.



/li liAct as a technical point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners. /li liSupport project management. /li /ul h3Required Skills/Knowledge /h3 ul li5+ years of experience in software development with proficiency in Phyton, Java, Spring Boot, AngularJS. /li liProficiency in relational (Postgres) and timeseries db (InfluxDB), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), authorization framework, methods (OAuth2 OpenId Connect). /li liExperience with Grafana, Airflow, and Kafka is considered a plus. /li liExpertise in software engineering best practices (CI/CD, branching, version control, testing). /li liLinus operating system knowledge (networking, scripting, software development, debugging and integration). /li liFamiliarity with Azure cloud platform is considered a plus. /li liExperience in supplier management, requirements compliance, and schedule management. /li liAbility to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities. /li liStrong proactivity and self‑improving capability. /li liStrong team working attitude in international environment, adapted to different cultures. /li liExcellent communication skills. /li /ul h3Education/Qualifications /h3 pEngineering Degree or equivalent technical background. /p h3Languages /h3 pEnglish and Italian: Upper intermediate level required (B2 or higher). /p p“Alla posizione si applica il vigente CCNL per l’industria metalmeccanica privata e l’installazione di impianti, con inquadramento nel livello B3 ai sensi della relativa disciplina di classificazione del personale.” /p pRAL minima 45K RAL massima 50K /p h3Employment Information /h3 pWe welcome and value differences in background, age, gender, sexuality, family status, disability, race, nationality, ethnicity, religion, and world view.
