Local Business Line Controller - Switchgear

In this role you support the local business line Switchgears in Dalmine by overseeing financial performance and reporting. You will collaborate with local management to monitor KPIs, drive P&L; and balance sheet accuracy, and contribute to monthly closings and planning cycles. You’ll optimize financial processes, report to the global team, and help the business reach targets in a hybrid work setup. This position offers insight into industrial finance within ABB’s global, sustainability-focused mission.

- Financial administration, monitoring and analysis of P&L;, Balance Sheet and cash flow for the local Switchgears line
- Own the monthly closing processes (accruals, provisions, postings) and related reporting
- Support Business Management to achieve financial targets and provide reliable financial information to the global level




- Participate in Financial Planning and budgeting, including forecasts and long-term simulations
- Cost management and reporting, with analysis of cost trends
- Drive continuous improvement and automation of local financial processes
- Coordinate financial information with the global Business Line and liaise with the global finance team
- Graduate in Economics or Management Engineering
- 5 years of experience in financial roles and financial business controlling with P&L; and Balance Sheet analysis
- Knowledge of MS Office; preferred SAP and CFIN system experience
- Curious and proactive mindset; autonomous learning and adaptation
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; fluent in Italian and English
