Position
We are currently seeking a Trade Compliance Documentation Specialist, who will play a key role in ensuring accurate verification and management of all import/export documentation required for international shipments. The position supports global trade operations by guaranteeing compliance with customs regulations, trade requirements, company procedures, and customer-specific requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review import and export shipping documentation
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, transport documents, and customs-related documentation
- Ensure compliance of shipping documents with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and customer specifications
- Support customs clearance activities by providing accurate and timely documentation.
- Manage and archive trade documentation according to company policies and regulatory requirements
- Verify consistency between purchase orders, shipping documents, and customs declarations
- Assist in resolving documentation discrepancies that could impact transportation, customs clearance, or customer deliveries
- Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing logistics and trade documentation processes
- Stay updated on international trade regulations, Incoterms, customs requirements, and transportation standards
- Collaborate with Logistics, Purchasing, Suppliers, Finance to ensure smooth international operations
Requirements:
- High School Diploma in Logistics or International Supply Chain Management. xysqume
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Trade, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields
- (Strong) knowledge of import/export documentation: Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading (B/L), Air Waybills (AWB), Certificates of Origin, Customs Documentation
- Understanding of international logistics and transportation processes
- Knowledge of customs procedures and import/export regulations
- (Good) understanding of Incoterms
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced international environment.
