*** **The Role** TTC is a global leader in the travel and tourism industry, dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for travelers worldwide. We are looking for a Regional Destination Expert - Venice & the Veneto region to join our Italy Contracting & Operations Department at our Venice office. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work model. We offer a dynamic, international, and stimulating environment, with a salary of 47K EUR per year. Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee both included and optional itineraries and travel services, working closely with our Travel Directors to lead tours for our international guests in Venice and the Veneto region
- Build strong relationship with local suppliers in Venice & the Veneto region to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Oversee contracting of suppliers providing services on behalf of the various brands represented by TTC in Venice & the Veneto region
- Oversee daily tour operations, ensuring compliance with company standards
- Address and resolve operational challenges in real time to enhance customer experience
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize processes and improve service offerings
- Analyze and monitor service performance to recommend improvements **Requirements**: - Previous experience in the tourism industry,
preferably in an operational or procurement role
- In-depth knowledge of Venice & the Veneto region as a travel destination, and the local tourism market, are a must
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage relationships with suppliers and clients
- Acute negotiation skills and ability to build long-lasting relationships with suppliers
- **C1 proficiency in English** (additional languages are a plus)
