ppTXT e-Tech, a company within the TXT Group, is looking for bAeronautical System Engineers /b to join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) activities in the Aerospace Defense sector. /p pTXT is building a dedicated team focused on aeronautical CFD, composed of professionals with different levels of experience. The selected candidates will support the aerodynamic analysis of an advanced aircraft configuration by contributing to mesh generation, CFD simulations, and aerodynamic performance assessment. /p pWorking within a multidisciplinary environment, the successful candidate will collaborate with specialists in aerodynamics, flight mechanics, and aircraft design, contributing to the development and validation of innovative aircraft configurations. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liGenerate surface and volume meshes for CFD simulations, including both wall‑resolved and wall‑function configurations. /li liSet up and perform RANS CFD simulations, monitor convergence, and carry out post‑processing activities. /li liEvaluate the aircraft's aerodynamic characteristics, with particular focus on stability, controllability, trim conditions, and aerodynamic load distribution. /li liAnalyze internal flow from the air intake to the engine, assessing total pressure losses and flow distortion. /li liUpdate the Stability Control dataset and contribute to the definition of aerodynamic load datasets and thrust bookkeeping. /li liCorrelate CFD results with experimental data from wind tunnel testing campaigns, when available. /li /ul h3Required Technical Skills /h3 ul liMaster's Degree in Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering. /li liSolid knowledge of aerodynamics, gas dynamics, and flight mechanics. /li liExperience with CFD software, mesh generation, RANS turbulence models, and post‑processing. /li liStrong proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink.
/li liExperience in the aerodynamic validation of aircraft configurations. /li liGood command of written and spoken English. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liKnowledge of advanced turbulence models (URANS, LES). /li liExperience in automating CFD workflows using Python or MATLAB. /li liExperience with CAD‑to‑CFD integration, including geometry import, clean‑up, and defeaturing. /li liExperience correlating CFD results with experimental wind tunnel data. /li liKnowledge of internal flow analyses (air intakes and ducting systems). /li liExperience using HPC clusters and managing parallel CFD simulations. /li liKnowledge of aerodynamic models for Stability Control and load bookkeeping. /li liExperience with aerodynamic optimization processes. /li /ul h3Soft Skills /h3 ul liStrong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. /li liAbility to work independently and effectively manage priorities. /li liTeam‑oriented mindset with experience working in multidisciplinary environments. /li liAccuracy, results‑driven attitude, and a proactive approach. /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 ul liA structured professional growth path through mentoring and continuous training. /li liPermanent employment contract. /li liAnnual gross salary ranging from €29,000 to €34,000. /li liEmployment classification defined during the selection process in accordance with the Italian National Metalworkers' Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico). /li liOpportunity to work on innovative projects within the Aerospace Defense industry. /li liA young, collaborative, and innovation‑driven working environment. /li /ul pTXT is an equal opportunity employer.
