ppVector Synergy is a prime contractor for NATO and European Union agencies. /ppFor one of our clients, we are looking for ab Cloud engineer with NATO Secret security clearance. /b /ppbLocation: /bLa Spezia, Italy (relocation required) /ppbSecurity Clearance: /bNATO Secret (mandatory) /ppbContract /b: B2B /ph3Duties/role: /h3ulliWorking with the IT team to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the organization; /liliSupporting the planning, designing, and developing on-prem and cloud-based applications; /liliManaging the on-prem infrastructure and the cloud environment in accordance with the organization’s security guidelines; /liliLeading and developing best practices for the cloud and systems engineering team. /liliSupervising the execution of standard system administration duties, on prem and in the cloud, including server installation, System/Application installation and patch management, Windows and Linux problem determination and resolution, log analysis; /liliOrchestrating and automating on-prem and cloud-based platforms throughout the organization; /liliDefining project plans and backlogs, monitoring project execution,



reporting; /liliImplementing day-to-day team management by application of Agile principles, organize daily standups. /li /ulh3Desirable: /h3ulliMaster’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering; /liliCertified AWS Solutions Architect, Cloud Security Certification, and/or OpenStack Administrator Certification; /liliExperience in developing software using languages such as Java and Python; /liliService knowledge of Windows PowerShell 2.0; /liliExtensive experience with open-source technology, software development, and system engineering; /liliDatabase experience, including knowledge of SQL and NoSQL, and related data stores such as Postgres; /liliExcellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace; /liliInterest in Cloud Engineering and its impact on greater business practices; /liliSkilled at working in tandem with a team of engineers, or alone as required; /liliPrevious experience in NATO and knowledge of NATO policies. /li /ulpPlease note that only shortlisted applicants will be contacted. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
