About Sebago
Established in 1946, Sebago was created to meet the consumer demand for quality, casual footwear. The brand's founder owned five independent shoe stores in Maine and was determined to keep them stocked. The original shoe they made, the Sebago Classic beefroll penny loafer, is still handsewn with the finest craftsmanship today, just as it was back then.
Who We're Looking For
For the upcoming opening of our brand new Sebago store in Catania, we are looking for experienced Sales Assistants.
As a Sales Assistant, your goal is to provide customer service and sales excellence.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the store consistently has an appearance that encourages sales through maintenance of order, cleanliness and completeness of the range.
You will be expected to ensure courtesy, friendliness and kindness, collaborating positively with the team.
Key Responsabilities
- Supporting the customer in the sale;
- Maintaining, managing and handling merchandise on display;
- Replenishing stock in order to ensure maximum levels of merchandise availability in the department;
- Maintaining order and cleanliness in the store;
- Managing fitting rooms following company guidelines;
- Managing cashier operations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required
- Previous experience as a Sales Assistant in established retail reality (fashion and footwear field);
- Excellent knowledge of English language (any other languages will be considered plus);
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Reliability, dynamism, courtesy and flexibility in schedules.
Initial placement on a fixed-term contract, full-time (40 hours per week) and tempo parziale (30 hours per week).
This role comes with an annual gross salary of around €18. , plus a range of company benefits.
