Experteer Overview
As Production Engineer – Metal Forming, you will support 12 European sites and 5 locations in the Middle East and North Africa, plus involvement in greenfield projects. You drive improvements in metal forming processes and equipment to boost quality, cost efficiency, and overall manufacturing performance. You will develop SOPs, best practices, and cost‑reduction initiatives, and you’ll train teams on metal forming methods. You will liaise with Crown Technology to standardise specifications and upgrade tooling and processes. A safety‑minded, communicative leader who can travel and adapt to different cultures will thrive here.
Retribuzione / Benefits
- Support and optimise metal forming operations across multiple sites (12 Europe, 5 MENA)
- Work on core forming stages: cupping, bodymaking, necking, as well as related equipment (coil handling, die sets, tooling, lubrication)
- Develop and promote SOPs, best practices, and cost‑reduction programmes
- Deliver classroom and hands‑on training for metal forming equipment and processes
- Liaise with Crown Technology on equipment, tooling, materials,
and process standardisation
- Contribute to greenfield site projects and integration of newly acquired locations
- Drive continuous improvement in quality, cost and efficiency of forming processes
- Promote safety‑minded practices and robust problem‑solving across teams
- Support standardisation of specifications and knowledge sharing across locations
- Provide leadership and effective communication across diverse cross‑functional teams
Responsabilità
- Engineering xysqume background or ONC/HNC/HND or degree level
- Strong 2PC engineering and process knowledge in metal forming
- Expertise in cupping, bodymaking, and necking
- Clear, concise communication across levels; strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
- Self‑starter and team player with leadership and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate
- Willingness to travel at short notice and for extended periods abroad
- Ability to adapt to different cultures and working environments
