ppA Data Architect is an IT expert who enables data‑driven decision making by collecting, transforming, and publishing data. At NTT Data, a Data Architect should be able to design, build, operationalize, secure, and monitor data processing systems with a particular emphasis on security and compliance, scalability and efficiency, reliability and fidelity, and flexibility and portability. The main mission of a Data Architect is to turn raw data into information, creating insights and business value. /p h3Your Contribution In This Role /h3 ul liBuild large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines with data processing frameworks in GCP cloud platform /li liUse an analytical, data-driven approach to drive a deep understanding of fast changing business. /li liWork with the team to evaluate business needs and priorities, liaise with key business partners and address team needs related to data systems and management. /li liParticipate in project planning; identifying milestones, deliverables and resource requirements; tracks activities and task execution /li /ul h3The ideal profile /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant field /li liAt least 5 - 10 years’ experience in a data engineering role /li liExpertise as a software engineering using Scala/Java/Python /li liExperience in Advanced SQL skillset - preference on using BigQuery /li liGood knowledge on Google Managed Services as Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc,
and Data Fusion /li liExperience using workflow management /li liGood understand of GCP Architecture batch and streaming /li liStrong knowledge of data technologies and data modeling /li liExpertise on building modern, cloud-native data pipelines and operations, with an ELT philosophy /li liExperience with Data Migration / Data Warehouse /li liIntuitive thinking of how to organize, normalize, and store complex data, enabling both ETL and end users /li liPassion for mapping and designing ingestion and transformation of data from multiple sources, creating a cohesive data asset /li liGood understanding of developer tools, CICD etc /li liExcellent communication, empathetic with end users and internal customers. /li /ul h3Nice-to-have /h3 ul liGoogle Cloud Data Engineer Certification /li liExperience using Big Data echo system Hadoop, Hive, HDFS, Hbase /li liExperience with Agile methodologies and DevOps principles /li /ul h3Location /h3 pMilano, Bari, Bologna, Cosenza, Napoli, Roma, Salerno, Torino, Treviso, Pisa /p pBuild your future with NTT DATA. /p pJoin a global company, a leader in business and technology services, that listens to your voice and recognizes the value of your work.
