Overview

In this role you lead engineering activities for utility-scale PV and BESS projects in Italy, spanning development, design, construction, and commissioning. You will act as the technical reference for grid connections, optimization, and technology selection, while supporting permitting, due diligence, and financial analysis. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with standards and bankability, driving CAPEX optimization. Retribuzione / Benefits

- Lead engineering for PV and BESS projects from concept to commissioning
- Serve as technical reference for grid connection, layout optimization, yield assessments, and tech selection
- Support permitting, due diligence, and M&A; processes
- Validate designs from co-developers, consultants, and EPCs
- Review RFIs and design changes; support commissioning and performance validation
- Ensure IEC/IEEE compliance and bankability requirements
- Drive CAPEX optimization and inform investment decisions with technical-economic analysis
- Collaborate with finance, procurement, and commercial teams




- Lead BESS-specific engineering: sizing, integration, safety, and grid code compliance
- Manage technical interfaces with EPCs, grid operators, lenders, and authorities
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Prepare technical reports for management and investors

Responsabilità

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering Lead in utility-scale PV and/or BESS
- Proven experience in project development, design review, CAPEX analysis, and construction-phase engineering management
- Strong knowledge of PV and BESS technologies, grid integration, and EPC project execution
- Experience with co-developers, EPC contractors, and international project teams
- Proficiency in English and Italian; Spanish a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office
