Senior Business Controller
ADP is looking for a Senior Business Controller. This key role works closely with the Southern Europe (Italy and Iberia) business, contributing to approximately 130M in revenues.

The role is based in Milan, reports to the Regional CFO, and manages a controlling specialist. It is a key Finance Business Partner position, supporting the organization through financial planning, analysis and business support to achieve and exceed objectives while following global strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Business partner with Sales and other stakeholders, providing financial and commercial support, balancing risks and leveraging opportunities.
- Provide commercial and financial expertise on pricing strategy, investment appraisal, product and client profitability, and deal structures.
- Deliver in-depth, consistent business insight through analytical reporting, dashboards and BI tools, retrieving data from multiple sources and monitoring KPIs to support decision‑making on investment, risk mitigation and corrective actions.
- Ensure consistency and quality of business insight across the region.
- Develop and maintain robust mid‑to‑long term strategic planning models to assist leadership in commercial decisions.
- Manage and coordinate key processes such as forecasts, operating plans, periodic business reviews and strategic planning, acting on behalf of the CFO in some instances.
- Drive continuous improvement in the finance department and partner with the BPI function across the organization.
- Support professional development of the controlling specialist.
- Collaborate with the Head of Accounting and maintain a close relationship with the Accounting team.
Skills and KnowledgeKnowledge Required
- English and Italian fluent (read, spoken, understood and written).
- Spanish professional working proficiency (preferred but not required).
- Excellent IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint); Power BI development experience is a plus.
- Strong experience with financial systems, including customized reports within FP&A; reporting tools (Oracle and Hyperion preferred).

Education and Experience
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration with strong academic performance.
- At least 10 years of work experience.
- Prior experience in FP&A; or business controlling, partnering with strong sales functions.
- Prior experience influencing in a matrix organization.
