The company develops, builds, finances, manages and operates high quality renewable energy projects in several countries, with a portfolio of 2,6 GW (1,9 operational and + 0,7 ready to build / under construction) assets in operations and construction, whole portfolio under development sums up to over 18 GW.Se desidera conoscere i requisiti per questo ruolo, continui a leggere per trovare tutte le informazioni pertinenti.We are seeking an Grid Connection Engineer to support our ongoing and future projects in Italy.What will you help with?Management of the entire grid connection process, including communication with grid operators (e-distribuzione, Terna, etc.); Drafting and submission of medium and high voltage grid connection applications; Analysis of technical outcomes (STMG/STMD) and verification of technical feasibility; Support during the development and permitting phases of projects, with a focus on electrical aspects; Collaboration with legal, permitting, and project management teams; Estimating costs and scheduling activities related to grid interconnection works; Coordination with designers and support in designing connection-side systems; Support in preparing tender processes for grid interconnection works, including defining the scope of work, reviewing bids, and selecting contractors; Evaluation of offers and follow-up during the tendering process; Support in preparing contracts to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with OPDENERGY's requirements; Management and supervision of engineering and construction activities related to grid connection works,
in coordination with Project Managers and Site Engineers; Participation in key phases of commissioning; Performing sitesurveys and audits during construction.Requirements:Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field; At least 2–3 years of previous experience in the field of electrical connections for renewable energy plants; Proven experience in the construction of HV substations; Proven experience in the construction of grid works with E-distribuzione; Knowledge of the Italian Grid Connection Process (and TICA); Excellent knowledge of the technical regulations for grid connection in Italy and processes with Terna and local distributors; Ability to readand understand electrical diagrams, project drawings, and technical documentation; Good knowledge of electrical design software and Microsoft Office package; Proactive mindset, autonomy, and a strong team-working attitude; Written and spoken English proficiency.
