The final offer will reflect the candidate's experience, qualifications and the specific responsibilities of the role. /ph3What You Will Do /h3ulliLead a distributed team of 7+ talented engineers who are taking care of the B2C TheFork products (website and mobile apps) /liliOwn day-to-day execution decisions, delivery on time and maintaining a high bar of quality. /liliOptimise the team's processes to balance velocity and quality and promote a culture of excellence. /liliCo-own roadmap planning with your product and design counterparts. /liliWork closely with engineering teams to deliver large-scale initiatives, managing dependencies and ensuring seamless collaboration. /liliParticipate in the overall tech strategy and management of the B2C Tribe with other engineering managers, staff engineers, and architects. /liliMake sure your team is heard, fully motivated and aligned with the rest of the teams in the tribe and in the engineering department as a whole. /liliHire, mentor and motivate engineering talent. /liliGive constructive feedback, performance reviews and compensation reviews to your team.



/liliLeverage AI to enhance everyday engineering work by accelerating development, improving code quality, automating repetitive tasks, and enabling smarter decision-making /li /ulpYou will report directly to the B2C Head of Engineering, and you will peer up with the other engineering managers and senior individual contributors. /ph3Who You Are /h3ulliYou have already coached and mentored 5+ people teams, including senior software engineers, for at least 3 years. /liliYou have experience leading a high-performing technical team in a distributed environment. /liliSelf-motivated, curious and passionate engineer at heart. /liliHave an excellent grasp of system design and modern architecture patterns. /liliYou have knowledge or hands-on experience with technologies like React, TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, Kotlin/Swift, and RabbitMQ. /liliExposed to different agile methodologies and understand deeply how to apply and use them in the right context. /liliYou have a quality-first mentality, can set high standards for your team and participate in mentoring and upskilling the team. /liliSomeone who has strong product acumen and a solid understanding of product principles. /liliYou have good experience with dev tools and AI workflows, and are always curious to experiment with and bring forward new technologies. /liliYou are very comfortable writing and speaking constantly in English.
