ppFor a new logistics site of an important international company operating in the Retail sector, we are looking for an bOutbound /b bDepartment Manager /bwho will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, productivity, and effective management of outbound operations within the Distribution Center. /p h3MAIN ACTIVITIES /h3 pReporting directly to the Operation Manager, the candidate will lead the Outbound Operations team, ensuring the achievement of performance, quality, service, and cost targets, while maintaining compliance with company standards and operational procedures. He/she will be involved in: /p ul licooordinate and oversee all Outbound operations, ensuring an efficient flow of goods from the Distribution Center to stores and customers; /li liensure the correct execution of picking, wrapping, consolidation, and loading activities according to operational standards; /li licollaborate closely with Transport, Replenishment, Consolidation, Wrapping, and Loading departments to optimize operational performance; /li limonitor and improve picking flows, pallet optimization, and loading efficiency to maximize space utilization and transport productivity; /li liensure timely transport bookings and effective coordination of outbound shipments; /li liplan and allocate resources across departments according to operational needs and productivity targets; /li limonitor operational KPIs, departmental costs, and budgets, driving continuous improvement initiatives; /li liensure the correct storage and handling of products in compliance with company standards and procedures;pr /li lipromote effective two-way communication between management, Team Leaders, and operational staff; /li lilead, motivate, and develop Team Leaders and operational staff,
supporting their professional growth through training and development activities; /li liensure a safe, efficient, and positive work environment aligned with company values and operational excellence standards; /li lifoster collaboration and best-practice sharing across functions, departments, and Distribution Centers. /li /ul h3SKILLS /h3 ul liDegree or Diploma, preferably in Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields; /li liproven experience in managing warehouse operations or Distribution Centers, with a focus on outbound logistics; /li liprevious experience of at least 3-7 years in leading and developing operational teams;str /li listrong knowledge of outbound logistics processes, including picking, consolidation, loading, and transportation coordination;exp /li liexperience in KPI monitoring, performance analysis, and budget management; /li ligood knowledge of IT tools and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); /li ligood command of the English language (B1/B2). /li /ul h3the ideal candidate will also demonstrate: /h3 ul listrong leadership skills with a focus on people development and team engagement; /li liexcellent organizational and problem-solving abilities; /li liresults-oriented mindset with a continuous improvement approach; /li listrong communication and interpersonal skills; /li liabiity to perform effectively in fast-paced and complex operational environments;capa /li liability to prioritize, delegate, and coordinate activities across multiple operational areas. /li /ul h3Location: province of Rovigo /h3 pCompensation package and employment terms will be aligned with the candidate’s experience and qualifications. /p pThis vacancy is open to candidates of all genders, in accordance with applicable equal opportunity legislation. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
